Eleanor Buckley is the Communications and Project Manager at Community Power Agency. She leads the organisation’s media engagement and communications channels, and contributes across a broad range of projects, including research, project management and resource development. Eleanor brings over six years of experience spanning media, communications, research and project delivery.
Before joining Community Power Agency, Eleanor worked in communications and engagement roles for climate justice and energy transition research programs at UNSW and the University of Oxford. She has also worked as a research assistant at UNSW and ANU, focusing on the policy and social dimensions of the energy transition.
Eleanor is particularly interested in the intersection of media, communications and public participation in the energy sector – and how these elements influence public perceptions of renewable energy infrastructure and shape broader climate action.
She holds a Bachelor of Communications (Media Arts and Production), Graduate Certificate in Web Development and UX Design and is currently completing a Master of Climate Change at ANU.
