Our new short course is live – learn how to make renewables work for people and planet

We’re thrilled to announce the official launch of our new Socially Responsible Renewable Energy Development (SRRED) short course – now open for enrolments!

Redeveloped in partnership with Griffith University, this self-paced, university-accredited course is designed for anyone working in industry, policy or community who wants to strengthen their approach to community engagement and benefit sharing in the renewable energy sector.

Since 2021, our SRRED course has helped over 120 participants, including developers, policymakers and community leaders, gain the skills they need to ensure renewable energy projects create real, lasting benefits for communities.

Whether you’re planning projects, shaping policy, or advocating for fairer outcomes, SRRED will give you the tools to navigate the social dimensions of the energy transition, and deliver stronger outcomes for people and the planet.

With an engaging mix of expert interviews, real-world case studies and practical frameworks, the course draws on the latest insights and research in the sector.

Be quick – early bird discounts are available for the first 50 registrants. Check out the details and secure your spot here.

What’s New?

This new version of SRRED gives participants the flexibility to learn at their own pace, making it easier for busy professionals to fit the course into their schedules. Alongside the core content, learners will also have access to the SRRED Exchange, a dedicated community of practice for alumni to continue the conversation, share knowledge and stay up-to-date with best practices.
