Community Power Agency leads a collaborative effort to track how communities participate in Australia’s energy transition. We maintain a nationwide dataset of projects to equip practitioners, advocates, and policymakers with vital sector insights, and to champion the people leading the charge.
Use our map to:
- Connect locally – Locate your nearest group and get involved.
- Discover partnerships – learn how developers and councils are collaborating with community organisations to deliver local value.
- Find out about how community projects work.
How to navigate the map
Use the filter and search bar on the map to explore community projects across the country. You can filter the sector by location, project type, technology, capacity, ownership model and finance type. Grouped markers show multiple projects in the same area. If you click on individual project markers, you will find more detailed information on how projects work, in what ways community participated, and relevant links and resources.
