Sally MacAdams, Volunteer

[BA (Hons) Linguistics; MA Environment]

Pic_Sally_website Sally has extensive experience working in community engagement and empowerment for sustainability in both government and grass-roots contexts. Sally worked with regional bodies around Victoria in Community Engagement and Landcare in the former Victorian Department of Sustainability and Environment before moving to local government. Currently she’s a Sustainability Officer with an inner-urban Council, where she has worked directly with a range of community groups to help them get their own sustainability projects off the ground. Having specialised in cross-cultural communication in her undergraduate degree, she brings this background to her sustainability work with culturally and linguistically diverse communities. Sally is currently researching North American Community Owned Renewable Energy projects with a focus on Indigenous and remote communities.
